After over 4.5 years we have now returned to South Africa. I difficult decision to move but just the improvement in weather has been a great bonus. Anneliese, Joshua & I now live in Newcastle-under-Lyme, we have just bought a small semi in the town after renting in Loggerheads for 18 months. Newcastle (not the upon Tyne version south of Scotland) is a residential area bordering on the Stoke-on-Trent area, between Manchester and Birmingham, in the West Midlands of the United Kingdom. We have been blessed with the opportunity of buying our own house, in October 2002, and are very happy enjoying our own house and garden. Its hard to believe that we have lived in the UK since November 2000 when we moved from South Africa. I work for Singlepoint, part of the Vodafone Group, initally as a Project Manager but now managing all the IT Testing within the organisation. We were purchased by Vodafone in September 2003 (from the Caudwell Group), the largest privately owned mobile telecommunications company in Europe (1 800 000+ customers). Anneliese currently works for the Newcastle Council for Voluntary Service (NCVS) as Training and Development Manager. Stats Daily Monthly |
